Will the outside walls get rained on?

This decides if your blocks need cement added.

We recommend stabilized for most builds. It's fully water resistant, so walls can be left exposed, and it works anywhere masonry does. Choose pure earth only when every outside wall will be fully protected by deep porch roofs or plaster. Not sure? Choose stabilized.

Where will the dirt come from?

Using soil from your own land is the biggest money-saver.

Who's doing the work?

Making blocks takes a crew of about 4 to 6. (Renting? You still provide the crew.)
