Rent equipment

We bring the block plant to your land

One big build and no reason to own a machine? AECT sets up a complete batch plant at your site, runs it with a trained operator, and turns your dirt into 5,000 to 8,000 blocks a week.

How it works

From empty pasture to pallets of blocks

Plan & test

Run the planner for your block count, then we confirm your soil works (jar test plus Small Block Press samples).

We mobilize

AECT hauls the plant to your site: Mega Mixer, 3500 machine, 20' power conveyor, roller conveyors and support equipment.

We produce

Our operator runs the plant and trains your crew on mixing, moisture, calibration, stacking and curing.

You build

Blocks are palletized on site, ready to cure (stabilized) or go straight on the wall (un-stabilized).

Pricing

Two simple numbers

A one-time mobilization fee based on your distance from San Antonio, plus $1 for every block we make.

Mobilization & setup

  • TX, OK, LA, AR, NM$20,000
  • AL, AZ, CO, KS, MS, MO, NE, TN, UT$25,000
  • All other continental US states$30,000

Outside the continental US? Ask us for a quote.

Machinery rental

$1 / block

Includes AECT's full batch plant and an experienced operator on site for the production run.

Example: 18,000 blocks in Texas = $20,000 + $18,000 = $38,000 in rental, plus your materials and crew.

You provide

The planner adds your material and crew costs to your estimate automatically.

  • Production crew (typically 4–6)
  • Tractor with front loader
  • Forklift
  • Earth, plus sand if needed
  • Stabilizer (cement or lime)
  • Water and electric service
  • Fuel and hydraulic oil
  • Pallets and plastic wrap
  • Secure tool storage
  • Lodging for AECT staff
Simpler option

That's a lot to line up? Just buy the blocks.

If finding a crew, equipment and materials feels like too much, skip making blocks altogether. We make finished blocks on AECT machines and deliver them to your site, ready to lay.

Boswell, Oklahoma · 18,000 blocks

Austin, Texas · 40,000+ blocks

A customer used AECT's equipment to produce over 40,000 cement-stabilized 10"×14"×3.5" blocks for a large commercial build.

Rental questions

Before you ask

Is renting cheaper than buying a machine?

For a single building, usually yes. For multiple buildings, or if you plan to sell blocks, owning a machine almost always wins. The planner compares both using your numbers.

How fast will my blocks be made?

Once supporting equipment, materials and crew are in place, AECT typically makes 5,000 to 8,000 10"×14"×3.5" blocks per week at your site.

What block sizes can I get with a rental?

Our past rental deployments have run the 3500, which makes 10"×14" blocks as standard, with optional 7"×14" and 8"×14" plates. Need 6"×12" or interlocking blocks? Ask us.

Do I need to test my soil first?

Yes. It's the most important step. Too much clay (over ~35%) causes cracking and lamination. We'll help you test and, if needed, find an amendment like sand or screenings.
