Cutting cement-stabilized earth blocks

This video shows how to cut cement-stabilized CEBs for a project like the fire pit shown above.  A masonry blade on a circular saw or a chop saw works well to cut stabilized earth blocks to whatever size and shape you want.

This beautiful outdoor oven (or "horno") was built in San Antonio, Texas using 6" x 12" blocks from an AECT Impact 2001A machine.  AECT compressed earth blocks work in the same way that fire bricks do...except they are less expensive, more eco-friendly, and far more beautiful!
